Call to Worship
Call to Worship
  • You Came by Ben Radliff, Brendan Nelson, and Peter Crowley

From Psalm 105:1-8 (NLT)
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Today we sing to him; yes, we sing his praises. Telling everyone about his wonderful deeds. Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord. Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. We remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given, we, the children of his servant Abraham, the descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout the land. He always stands by his covenant—the commitment he made to a thousand generations.

Confession andAssurance of Pardon
Confession and
Assurance of Pardon
Father, you have given us many good gifts, and today we thank you for all of them, but we also confess that sometimes we love those gifts more than we love you. We confess wanting more and more things: food, clothes, toys, and money. Forgive us for not being content and thankful. Forgive our selfishness. Help us to love you more than everything else. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Colossians 3:15-17 (NLT)
Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts. For as members of one body we are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. We let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill our lives. Teaching and counseling each other with all the wisdom he gives. Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever we do or say, we do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

Benediction
Benediction

May the Lord bless us and hold us close. May he fill our heart with an overwhelming sense of peace, and an abundance of gratitude. May we rest in the assurance that God loves us completely, uniquely, and beyond measure. And may we live for one another, and for God, like never before, with open hands, minds, and hearts.
